Project Pipeline Architecture Camps

NOMA’s local summer camps provide rising 6th-12th grade students of color with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of architecture and design. Students that participate in the camps work closely with architects and designers to create the designs they would like to see in their communities. Not only do students create designs, but they are also connected with mentors in the architecture field to help guide their interests. For many students, Project Pipeline is their first introduction to the design world.

REGISTRATION OPENS LATE MARCH / EARLY APRIL 2025.

Please email NCProjectPipeline@gmail.com to get on the waitlist and receive the registration link when it goes live!

NCNOMA & VANOMA's Passing the Torch Series

In February of 2023, NCNOMA collaborated with VANOMA to organize a series of lunchtime virtual discussions in honor of Black History Month. Our collective goal was to provide a virtual platform for transferring knowledge, share unique experiences, and advise/encourage the next generation of black architects in North Carolina, Virginia and beyond. Building on the success of this event, in 2024 our team worked to expand this series to honor additional cultural heritage months throughout the year. 2024's four discussions honored Black History Month, Arab American Heritage Month, Asian American Pacific Islander and Hispanic Heritage Month.

PLEASE HEAD OVER TO THE NCNOMA & VANOMA YOUTUBE PAGES TO VIEW THE RECORDINGS OF THE SERIES.
